For a long time I have felt like more was in store for me than what I was experiencing. Nothing changed until I started taking action. I set goals, started writing things down and kept at it. Absolutely nothing changed overnight but things did change. I kept plugging away until i reached that goal and then set another, rinse and repeat and things started to look up for me. I did it for myself. I did it for my family. I stopped being selfish and started living for more.
The deep depression was a cold dark place to be in. I struggled a lot. I blamed other people, the economy, and a whole list of other stupid things but until I put my faith in God and put in the work to get out of that place things stayed the same.
